Drowned by the people in his village for loving someone of the same sex, Qi Ke was reborn in an orphan's body. He was lucky enough to be spotted by a talent scout and signed for training.
After landing a role at his first audition, Qi Ke caught the eye of Bai Zang, the award-winning actor playing the male lead, while they were filming. As Bai Zang lured him in bit by bit, Qi Ke carefully kept up the act of being straight.
"I'm rooting for Qi and Bai!"
"That couple is unbreakable and the roles can't be reversed! It's Bai and Qi!"
Are fans who ship couples really this scary?
