My Nemesis and I Share Life and Death

Wen Yao accidentally got bound to a System. The System told him that, due to a mistake, his fate had become tied to that of his nemesis: if his nemesis was hurt, he would feel pain; if his nemesis died, he would die too. To stay alive and break the bond, Wen Yao had no choice but to start completing missions to protect Li Yan. Before long, Li Yan noticed that the person who used to constantly oppose him had suddenly started sneaking glances at him. Whenever he got hurt, the other man looked as if he were in agony. Whenever danger struck, the other man rushed in front of him. Li Yan: ...He must have a secret crush on me, right? As time went by, Li Yan was moved. Just as he was about to accept Wen Yao, the bond was broken. Wen Yao immediately turned cold and took off: See ya! Li Yan: ... With a dark expression, Li Yan grabbed him and hauled him back. Wen Yao: Sorry, am I interrupting? Li Yan: Too late. Plot-bunny note recorded on February 23, 2020; posted on Weibo on February 28, 2020. Theme: Never give up on yourself.
