I Became a Crime-Fighting Ace with the System [1990S Crime Investigation]

The female general Jing Nian dies suddenly. Her ancestral jade pendant lets her be reborn in the modern era, so she decides to return to her old line of work. During a mission, she's badly injured, and her blood activates the pendant. That's when she discovers that her jade pendant is actually a System that can show her how crimes were committed. The moment she sees it, she can't help wanting to charge in and kill the criminal. But she can't do that, and she doesn't have the authority. What kind of job would let her investigate these things openly and legally? The police, of course. So she insists on transferring to the police force. Her supervisor gets a headache, but can't do anything about it. Thinking she barely escaped death, he finally gives in. Then she asks to be made a squad leader, and he grits his teeth in frustration. But when someone refuses because she's a woman and so young, her supervisor flies into a rage. What's wrong with being young? What's wrong with being a woman? My soldier is the best, and she's the most ruthless one in a crowd of men. Besides, her medals could fill a pile. Who could be more of a man than she is? Why can't she be a squad leader? She has to be squad leader. And so she takes up her post. A ruthless female squad leader joins a whole crowd of men, and she's more ruthless than every one of them. They watch as criminals who had been viciously defiant and refused to confess under their interrogation are so terrified of their squad leader that they clutch their crotches and confess in no time. They're stunned. Who wouldn't respect a squad leader like that? They certainly do, and they resolve to work hard under her. Theme: Uphold justice and yearn for the light
