The Nightingale [The Phantom of the Opera]

Melly Hall has absolutely no musical talent, but she loves listening to music. Someone told her that the phantom beneath the opera house has a voice without equal in the world... Melly: I only came to listen to music at first. The Phantom: Only? Melly: In the end, I brought my little nightingale home, too. Content warnings 1. The Phantom follows the movie version, but he'll still be pretty out of character. [He's so handsome that I can't help writing him that way.] 2. The heroine is the type to make the first move, though she has her vulnerable moments too. She's got a huge advantage. 3. I won't bash the original heroine. After thinking it over, I'll still follow some of the original plot. 4. Around 100,000 words. A short story, really. I just want to date the Phantom. 5. Updates whenever inspiration strikes.
