[Reborn!] The Will of the Chariot

A low-ranking mercenary from Haidu failed to challenge the Tower Family of the Land of Warriors and lost an arm. Whenever the people of Haidu's Arcana mention him, they say, "Oh, that idiot who challenged the City Builder." But the young mercenary refuses to give up. He vows to challenge the Tower Family again, defeat that fearsome clan, and save Haidu from pollution. His second attempt also ends in failure, but this time he loses more than an arm: he loses his life. Still, he has no regrets. It's a realization every great mercenary must come to, especially one as steadfast as him. The mercenary named Kuang Tie has a favorite saying: "Be the fool who challenges the windmill. Recklessness is closer to courage than cowardice." In the end, though, fate takes pity on him. When he wakes in pain for the second time, he's lying in a filthy slum, with a frail younger brother beside him. Though he can't understand the language, he knows he's no longer in Haidu. This is a dark world ruled by guns, where the weak have no right to fight fate and no way to survive. So he casts aside his past and becomes the Mad Lion of the underworld. A little note about the idea: Kuang Tie's season skin, Lion's Pride, looks a lot like Xanxus, right down to the hairstyle, so I made them brothers. My other two Katekyo Hitman Reborn fics were both blocked, so don't worry about them. They're actually all one story, but JJ glitched, so I wrote three blurbs. Two got glitched, and I can't do anything about it... One more thing: the face-to-face fighting maniac needs to get his due. Give this a like first. Theme: King of Glory
