When the Smoke Clears

A fanfic inspired by a performance by SNH48.

Blurb:

Can fate be changed?

The girl who appeared in the desert doesn't know.

She has lost all her memories. The only things she remembers are the pain that surged from deep within her when she opened her eyes, and her own name: Momo.

She doesn't know where she came from or where she's going. Her only clue is an old photograph inside her necklace: a group photo of twenty-one people.

Who are they?

She doesn't know, but she has to find them. A voice in her heart tells her so.

And so she sets out, searching for the past, the future, and the one chance to break free from fate.

"I won't give up! Even if I'm desperate, even if I'm alone, even if I have to be shattered to pieces, I will seize the future that belongs to us!"

As the smoke clears, the road ahead quietly comes into view...

Theme: Chase hope through despair, break the shackles of fate, and step into a brand-new future.
