Lin Jian grows up wildly like a weed and makes it all the way to college, when his family suddenly tells him that the neighbor boy he has looked after since childhood, his precious Erbao, has run away from home.

His destination is the city where Lin Jian lives.

When Lin Jian finally finds him at a hotel, frantic with worry, the guy doesn't say a word. He rushes over and kisses Lin Jian until his head is spinning.

Lin Jian stares at Erbao, who's always been sweet and mild-mannered, utterly bewildered. But the gloom on his face gives the game away.

After being closeted for more than a decade, Lin Jian has only four words in mind: I'm so screwed.

He Wei has always kept someone in his heart. He thought that as long as he acted like everything was normal, he could go on enjoying that person's affection with an easy conscience. Just seeing him and touching him now and then would be enough, and he could keep living his plain, uneventful life.

But it wasn't.

He couldn't stand Big Bao going to college in another province, making friends with strangers, or staying away from home for a long time.

He began to fear that one day he'd see Big Bao in a photo with some unknown person on his social media, and he was even more afraid that Big Bao might not be his.

You can't spoil me until I think I can pluck stars from the sky, then expect me to accept a life that has no place for you.

At the moment fireworks burst in the sky, I see you standing alone beneath the stars. The campus lights behind you are bright, and so are the streetlights. Their light converges on you, and I gradually can't tell you apart from the shadow cast by the light.
