What's going on with the space-time disorder? Jiang Ya, keeper of the Kunlun Mirror, has been getting a firsthand taste of it lately.
When the young Nezha, not yet driven to cut his flesh and bones, and still too ignorant to know his place, walked up to him, Jiang Ya said, "The time tunnel's acting up again? No big deal."
When Yang Jian, his family destroyed and his heart full of murderous rage, appeared before him, Jiang Ya said, "Ah, I only have to send two people back. Easy."
When Sun Wukong, still a wild, ordinary monkey, started tearing apart his house, Jiang Ya said, "No problem. I only have to send three of them back at once."
He brought out the Kunlun Mirror in his left hand and formed a seal with his right. "Don't rush. Get in line. I'll send you back one at a time."
After sending everyone back to their respective points in time, Jiang Ya suddenly realized there was a problem.
What was going on? Why weren't these three following the plot? Wouldn't the butterfly effect knock the future world off course?
Jiang Ya said, "In that case, I'll start all three games at once."
First, after Yao Ji's death, he led the heavenly soldiers and generals to chase Yang Jian down and beat him. He didn't forget to stay by Yang Jian's side, offering him comforting words, while secretly sending messages to Heaven: "Come quick, come quick! Yang Jian's here today." At last, Yang Jian became a saint and settled in Guanjiangkou.
Then he worked hard to win Nezha's favor, ending with a casual remark: "I heard dragon tendons make good belts." At last, the Dragon King came, and he watched from the shadows as Nezha was surrounded and attacked, waving his sleeve and keeping his contribution to himself.
Then he went to Flower Fruit Mountain and gave Sun Wukong a good scare while making grand promises. At last, Sun Wukong returned from his training and successfully attacked Heaven.
After playing both good cop and bad cop to perfection, Jiang Ya was utterly exhausted, but finally he could head home, completely satisfied with a job well done.
But it seemed he'd forgotten that he and those three were all on the same timeline.
The butterfly's wings hadn't knocked him off course, but the three men he'd brought there were now blocking his doorway.
Yang Jian: "You set me up!"
Nezha: "You got me in trouble!"
Sun Wukong: "You tricked me!"
Jiang Ya: "...Damn..." After accounting for everything, I still managed to screw myself over.
The author's writing is amateurish, and I've made up a mountain of details. No historical nitpickers, please.
Reading a story is like going on a blind date. It all comes down to whether it clicks. If you don't like it, please don't flame me. Just leave quietly.
The pairing will be with one of these three. Let me think about it some more.
Synopsis and title are undecided.
Theme: Uphold the materialist conception of history.
