Chasing the Train

Song Shi is a terrible person. Those who hate her want her to die as soon as possible: "The world would be better off without her."

Even those who pity her hope she dies soon: "She might as well be reborn into a better life next time."

But she just won't die. Though she seems to have little time left, she stands there half-dead, like a foxtail grass stalk in winter, an eyesore that gets on everyone's nerves.

Then one day, a train came rumbling in, and a pretty girl stepped out of the little run-down station.

Later, Song Shi thought that Heaven must have been blind to send this person here, where she would meet Song Shi.

She was unlucky too. Just before she was about to die, she met someone who made her want to live.

"We stand together against the world in the dark. You aren't my light, you're my comrade."

A dark-themed practice piece.

A gloomy, sickly social outcast gong x a sweet-talking, pure-hearted student shou.

I've been busy lately, so I'm starting a story to keep my writing hand in shape and tide me over. It's a somewhat oppressive story, and the pacing will follow my whims. I can't promise a happy ending, so read with caution.

Theme: There is still hope for tomorrow.
