I Am a Dandy with a Sinister Nature

Wei E was famous throughout the land. There's no need to mention his peerless elegance, his extraordinary talent, or his unrivaled good looks. But one thing must be said: as a young man, he was a dissolute wastrel with a terrible reputation, a lone black sheep in the generations-old, prestigious Wei family, which had produced Central Secretariat Vice Ministers. They said he was born with a wicked nature, devoid of affection for family or anyone else. So he truly was unfilial and unbrotherly, defied his elders, and angered his grandmother to death. They said he was born with uncanny wisdom and an extraordinary temperament. So he truly did bide his time, endure humiliation and disgrace, and rise from the dead. As for the claim that “if he becomes a chancellor, the court will fall into ruin; if he becomes a general, the world will be engulfed in war”... Wei E watched the future emperor with lively interest, smiling faintly as his eyes curved. “How about you consider letting me take on both jobs?” *The writing isn't comedic. Read with caution. Only the blurb is funny. *The romance is a little hard to pin down. The main plot is serious drama, so don't read if that's not your thing. Theme: Don't believe in fate. Strive to improve.
