Mission Countdown

...Don't dig up this embarrassing old history, and don't read the character analysis bonus chapter (it's a negative mental pollution entity). If I'd had even a little more sense back then, I wouldn't have written this sanity-draining monstrosity (suffering face IN PROGRESS). Warning: He's British, and I only realized it after the British incident. The outline is done, but it'll probably be a long time before I revise this thing yet again. Fully revised blurb: Xing Nuoya Zhi held the paper titled “System Mission.” The veins on her hand stood out, as if the paper might turn to dust the next moment. She could be heard muttering, “You dead marshmallow spirit, ugly marshmallow spirit, half-paralyzed marshmallow spirit, out-of-favor marshmallow spirit.” From a distance, the paper appeared to have only four words on it. Up close, it read: “Unexpected.” “Achoo!” In a distant world, Byakuran Gesso sneezed while holding Irie Shoichi, then murmured to himself, “Who's thinking about me?” A mission that could surprise high-IQ characters like Dazai, Ranpo, and Fyodor, as well as one scumbag boss, was enough to make anyone tear their hair out. This story is undergoing a major revision, which isn't finished yet. If you've come across the 15 chapters that haven't been written yet and can't make sense of things, it's definitely because you haven't read the earlier chapters. The original title was Record of Raising Kings. I wrote this mainly because I was playing Honor of Kings back then, but I don't play anymore, so I changed the title. However, half of the System's permissions still include the heroes from Honor of Kings. Theme: Grow your own food
