Story summary 1:

Ji Linzhong returns from his travels and hears that his eldest brother has died unexpectedly. Rumors say his sister-in-law is having an affair with their cousin from the Xie family.

Ji Linzhong believes his sister-in-law's infidelity caused his brother's death, but he has no proof.

After finally collecting letters exchanged by the two and having the adulterer killed, he has his sister-in-law thrown into a pig cage. But then he is reborn.

Only this life is different from the last. He can't find any evidence of the two carrying on an affair, and on top of that, he finds himself liking his sister-in-law more and more...

Story summary 2:
