Can I say this is an entertainment-industry story disguised as a Prince of Tennis story??
Echizen Eri is the daughter of Echizen Nanjirō and the older sister of Echizen Ryoma.
But she can't play tennis...
That doesn't matter, though. She's amazing at the cello, can play the violin too, and of course she's got the basics down on piano. She can even play a bit of drums.
So she gets invited to appear on a reality show, Super Band.
And becomes famous overnight!
Eri treats the entertainment industry as a side gig, but she ends up making a huge splash.
And then?
Then Eri goes to the Juilliard School of Music,
gradually fading from the Japanese entertainment scene.
Until one day, a headline on the trending list reads: "Shocking! Atobe Keigo, heir to the Atobe conglomerate, secretly dates girlfriend in America. Is she Echizen Eri?!"
Only then do people dig into their relationship and discover that they were childhood sweethearts all along?!
