Capturing the River [Breaking Through the Clouds and Swallowing the Sea Fanfiction]

The story picks up right after "Tun Hai." After turning against Shark, Qin Chuan escapes the police's layers of pursuit, only to be kidnapped and brazenly pinned to the ground.

The man is extraordinarily handsome and tenderly affectionate. He greets him with, "Hey, wife." Is he driven by lust, or does he have another agenda?

Years later, they "happen" to meet in the deep mountains and old forests. The other man has clearly come for him. Qin Chuan is on his guard against this fling and avoids him like the plague. Is this man really trouble, or is Qin Chuan just playing hard to get?

It turns out Gong Qin first crossed paths with him several years ago, after Wen Shao was brought to justice. Mr. Gong claims it was love at first sight. Qin Chuan was forced to spend three "wonderful" days and nights in close quarters with him.

Later, Gong left without a word, leaving Qin Chuan a "token of love": a national gift, a nautilus shell cup.

So has Qin Chuan been on the run with that cup all these years? Will he have any peace if he falls into this man's hands?
