Taming

During her rebellious phase, Qiao Qiao was a problem student who gave her teachers a headache, unruly and defiant, with grades that dragged down the whole class. After another exam, the class chose their seats based on their rankings. Fu Zhinian volunteered to sit with Qiao Qiao. The homeroom teacher was surprised. The top student in the grade and the school heartthrob said coolly, "For the honor of the class." Qiao Qiao hated her high-and-mighty deskmate. But no matter how much she teased and bullied him, he could keep his anger in check and continue acting all high-minded and righteous. The only time Fu Zhinian got angry in all three years of high school was when a boy insulted Qiao Qiao behind her back, and he got into a fight. Because the incident was serious, the two of them were made to deliver public self-criticisms on the sports field. In front of the whole school, the other boy prepared a five-thousand-word speech, sincerely admitting his fault and nearly bursting into tears on the spot. Fu Zhinian's self-criticism was only one sentence, but it became a campus story that students in Yuncheng would talk about for generations. "Qiao Qiao is in our class. I don't think protecting Class 2, Grade 1 was wrong. I was doing my duty." The homeroom teacher below the stage was beside himself with rage. "You turned getting into a fight into doing your duty? Should I be congratulating you, then?!" Cold on the outside, warm on the inside, top student X rebellious little fairy "My values tell me I can't let anyone bully Qiao Qiao." [Little scene] After they got together, the two of them argued over whether she could eat chocolate ice cream during her period. Lawyer Fu brought his courtroom eloquence home, arguing his case with perfect logic until Qiao Qiao had no answer. After a few seconds of silence, Qiao Qiao said, "I dreamed about you last night." Her face was full of defiance. Fu Zhinian had a hunch and asked coldly, "Did you dream I died?" Qiao Qiao shook her head, her tone earnest. "In my dream, there was a girl who couldn't eat chocolate ice cream either... Then she got a new boyfriend and was able to eat it." Fu Zhinian: "…" If he had committed a crime, the law would punish him. He shouldn't have to sit here listening to Qiao Qiao argue nonsense. Theme: Love
