The once-pampered little prince lowered himself and spoke softly. His expression was unreadable in the dim light.
The god: "I want you to give yourself to me."
The little prince did not look up. His body trembled, but in the end he softly replied, "All right."
"I will serve my master, love what he loves, and hate what he hates. I beg my master to show me mercy. I will take his will as my rule and never disobey."
The pale, thin youth knelt before the god and spoke.
Who could have guessed that the little prince, who had sworn his loyalty with his own lips, would seize his chance and flee the temple without looking back?
The god crushed the olive branch in his hand.
He descended from the temple himself and entered the war-torn world.
"Little traitor."
The flames of war ignited at the empire's borders and soon swept across the entire continent.
Seated in the military tent, the god watched the little prince kneeling at his feet once again, his expression unreadable.
The god: "What are you doing here?"
The little prince took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and bared his slender, pale neck. "I wish to ask the great god to grant my final wish."
The god replied indifferently, "What is it?"
"Please kill me with your own hands."
