There's Something Very Wrong with This Detective Agency!

A gloomy and unreliable heroine, Chu Xianzhi x a dependable hero who neutralizes gloom, Song Na

Chu Xianzhi is an ordinary college student about to graduate and head toward a bright future. Then a demon tricks her into signing a hundred-year indenture contract. After she slacks off at work, the demon sells her to Song Na, the boss of an agency said to have no human warmth whatsoever.

A chores girl who dresses like a little girl and looks underage, but is actually over twenty.

A client who gobbles up the flowers on the table and is never full.

A little girl whose cat is either running away from home or about to.

A creepy love letter that appears in the mailbox at the same time every evening.

Chu Xianzhi slowly types a "?"

One day,

a human head appears by Chu Xianzhi's bed, staring straight into her eyes.

Chu Xianzhi, frantically pounding on the door opposite: "Boss, save me!"

Song Na, curled up coldly under the covers: "You've got ninety-nine years left. You'll get used to it."

1. Since the boss is invincible and the employee is invincible (occasionally = practically never = zero), the main plot is made up primarily of the touching stories of monsters (not really) and getting beaten up (yes). Note: How could the protagonist's invincibility be a debuff!

2. Most of the monsters in this story come from the Classic of Mountains and Seas and Night Parade of One Hundred Demons, with some modifications by the author. Some are original creations. Cute is justice!

3. Na is pronounced with the third tone.
