One in Ten Thousand

Bai Yan came close to achieving his dream several times, but each time, he only sank deeper into the mire.

Then one day, he decided to take things as they came.

And suddenly, the world's course seemed to change?

The show rigged the results, leaving him at the bottom of the votes.

"Oh well, even the last-place contestant can advance."

The next day: A bunch of vote-rigging dogs! My Yan got his votes suppressed and still came in first!

He was falsely accused of plagiarizing a score, and the backlash was fierce.

"Oh well, I'll just drop the song. It's not like I need this one."

The next day: A song he wrote two years ago supposedly plagiarized one from this year? Does everyone think my Yan has a time machine?

He fell asleep on a fellow group member's clothes and was accused of bullying him.

"Oh well, I'll just keep my distance from now on."

The next day, his teammate: So what if he slept on my clothes? I wish Brother Yan would sleep on me!

Bai Yan (horrified): Could that be taken the wrong way?

His dating history was dug up, and he was branded a "scumbag."

"Fine, I'll leave the industry. I'll just go home and write music."

The next day, his boss: Excuse me, I'm the "other woman" in that story. (grits teeth)

Bai Yan (shocked): Boss, think of your reputation!

The boss points at the shares laid out on the desk: You're leaving the industry, so why should I care about my reputation? Here, you owe me hundreds of thousands in breach-of-contract fees. Repay me with yourself and I'll take the shares instead!

.

Note: Sweet with a hint of angst, and there's a crematorium where the love interest goes straight to regret. A warm-hearted bottom is gently saved!

CP: Steady, "pure" boy-band ACE top x Bottom boss who wanted to be his "sugar daddy" but ended up growing further and further away

Note: This is fiction, not reality. It has a setting where same-sex marriage is legal, and society as a whole has a strong sense of morality, with more good people than bad. A warm and kind world!

Note: The top is a boy-band ACE. These are fictional characters, so don't associate them with real-life boy bands. Don't read if that bothers you!

Theme: Love finds you when you least expect it
