Little Sunshine

On her way home from school, the pretty and well-behaved Miss Li was cornered by a gang of delinquents in an alley. A student from the neighboring school happened to pass by and bravely came to her rescue. The school publicly praised him, and the story became a local legend. But the tough girl Li Yao, who dressed in pink but hit especially hard, lay on her bed in a foul mood. She'd never been so humiliated. How was she supposed to keep up her reputation at No. 13 High School now? Si Mo wasn't faring any better. As the top dog at No. 15 High School, he'd been publicly praised by his school for coming to someone's rescue and even given a huge banner. His position as leader might not survive this. That night, worried they'd be humiliated at school the next day, they both made a decision: they had to transfer! A week later, two new transfer students arrived in Class 3, Grade 11, at No. 6 High School. One was pretty and sweet, the other handsome and neat. Seated in the back corner, they looked at the very person who'd caused their embarrassment. Li Yao forced a smile and gritted out, "Hello, classmate." Si Mo raised an eyebrow, the corners of his mouth lifting. "Hello, deskmate. I look forward to getting along with you." P.S. This is a bickering couple kind of story. The adorable girl who dresses in pink but fights viciously x the scheming male lead who acts all sweet and innocent. A light read for when life gets you down. I'm just writing for fun, and it won't be very long. Theme: Study hard to build a bright future.
