The apocalypse arrives. Zombies run rampant, and humanity struggles to survive.
As one of the first people to awaken special powers, Shen Yu has always done his best to hunt zombies and fulfill his duty to protect his fellow humans.
Until one day, his companions set him up and shove him into a horde of zombies. Only then does he learn how cruel the world can be, and that life isn't worth living.
Fortunately, there is always a way out. At the brink of life and death, a little zombie emperor who has only just developed a glimmer of intelligence happens to pass by and find the dying human esper.
The little zombie is cute, and even cuter in personality. He takes Shen Yu in and raises him with the joyful devotion of someone who's found a treasure.
He gives you tasty crystals to eat, the new clothes he just stole to wear, and says it would be best to eat up all the nasty people who bully you.
In the deepest darkness, Shen Yu finds a hard-won redemption.
But...
"Thank you, but I really don't eat crystals."
"You have to wear clothes too. Even zombies should have some shame!"
And...
"Why eat those bad guys? Why not eat me instead?"
Reader's Guide:
Basically, this is an outrageously chuunibyou, Mary Sue-style story about abandoning your own kind for someone, and having the world come for me as a result.
This world and the future mean less to me than you do.
The top has an off-the-charts corruption level and is emotionally indifferent to everyone except his little zombie.
The bottom is an innocent, adorable little zombie who's easy to poke over (literally easy to poke over!).
Top's POV, farming and leveling up, top and bottom dote on each other.
Next up: "I Took My Little Husband Back to the Apocalypse"
Mu Kun, the most powerful esper in the apocalypse, is betrayed by his closest friend and dies.
Fortunately, Heaven takes pity on him and gives him the chance to transmigrate into another world and start life anew.
There are no terrifying zombies or brutal infighting in this other world, only his doting parents and a little tagalong who follows him around all day.
The tagalong, Su Luo, is a young shuang'er. His parents died when he was little, and the Zhao family took him in as a child bride.
The sweet and obedient little child bride warms Zhao Mu Kun's hard heart. They grow up together as childhood sweethearts, and just as they're about to discuss marriage, with a sudden thump, Zhao Mu Kun transmigrates back again!
His happy, peaceful family is gone! His sweet, soft little shuang'er is gone!
Heartbroken, Zhao Mu Kun begins his violent daily routine of punching zombies and kicking base doors.
Until one day, he hears by chance that a strange young boy has arrived at the Southern Base. He's mastered wood-based abilities, and claims to be Zhao Mu Kun's little husband.
The little husband he lost has come looking for him!
Reader's Guide: Apocalypse farming. Su Luoluo has powers, but his abilities are focused on farming.
Top's POV. The top and bottom dote on each other and only have eyes for one another.
Theme: Walking side by side, finding light in the darkness
So far, I can't see any darkening of the copywriting. Isn't this very humane? [Question mark]
Hela virus sounds familiar, but I can't remember it
Why can't I escape reading anywhere?
