Taming the Moonlight

Xu Jinhuan always felt she might be the most invisible person in the world.

Her older sister, Xu Jinhuan, was clever and outstanding, bright and carefree, living like the sun.

But Xu Jinhuan could only ever stand with her back to the light.

The turning point in her life came in her second year of high school, when she met Jiang Zong.

He was even more carefree and dazzling than Xu Jinhuan,

yet he was always willing to stop for her.

Through countless days spent working toward a better future,

whenever she ran into a difficult problem,

Jiang Zong would prop his chin on his hand and grin, lazy and carefree:

"What part don't you understand? Brother Zong will teach you."

Many, many years later,

when she finally stammered out what was in her heart,

the young man at last grew serious, but his words still had their familiar tone:

"What, do you need Brother Zong to teach you how to kiss, too?"

1. This story is also called The Adventures of an Insecure Girl (not really).

2. It's probably an ensemble coming-of-age story with no villains, a tribute to the youth we've left behind.

3. No inappropriate influences. The leads don't start dating until they are adults.

4. Some inspiration came from the song Light Taming the Night: You, standing against the light, shine brighter than the light.

5. I hope everyone can find their own path during their youth.

Theme: Start working hard now. You deserve the best.
