Qi E was just an ordinary actress. Through her own efforts, she was doing better than some and worse than others, but she never felt unappreciated or complained about her lot in life.
She thought things would go on like that forever, until one day she came across a water mirror. It told her that completing missions would let her keep her youth and beauty forever. After confirming she could live with the consequences of failure, Qi E readily agreed.
Her missions were to enter various fanfiction stories, fulfill the fanfic authors' wishes, and witness the lives of the protagonists in those stories.
All the fanfiction in this story is made up by the author. Some of it is based on source material the author hasn't even read.
First fanfiction world: Ashes of Love, as the Heavenly Empress Tu Yao
