Synopsis

Human desire is always insatiable, like the urge to climb the steps to heaven. What do those towers, steadily piled higher and higher in that gloomy city, really mean? If human desire truly comes from instinct, can it be restrained? Note: A pure stream-of-consciousness short story. Read with caution. Premise: A story about humanity's struggle against the desires of instinct
