Greven is a grandmaster of spellcraft and a professor at the Yelivel Magic Academy, where he teaches Sacred Geometry.
Although his academic expertise in sacred geometry ranks among the best on the entire continent, being a good scholar doesn't necessarily make someone a good teacher. His student evaluations have always been at the bottom of the academy.
That's because only 9.8% of his students pass his final exam.
Not just at the academy, but across the entire mage kingdom and even the whole continent, that pass rate is unprecedentedly low.
But Professor Greven has always believed this isn't his fault. After all, what good is passing a class if you can't even solve such simple problems? Can you calculate the spell model for a forbidden spell? Can you draw a theoretically perfect magic circle? How will you break through to the higher ranks and become a grandmaster?
[Students: (choked.jpg) Professor, aren't you thinking a little too far ahead? We're only apprentices!]
So Greven goes on living amid the strange looks of those around him, misunderstood, disliked, and unaccepted.
He can only rely on his handsome face to keep his class enrollment up.
Until Loren appears.
"Although I'm blind, I can feel the beauty of mathematics in your words."
Faculty and students: ...Another one's gone mad.
The stern mage (top) x the blind prince (bottom)
The bottom looks delicate and weak, but is secretly cunning.
A story told from the top's perspective. They fall for each other mutually, with neither chasing the other. Pure, 24-karat sweetness.
The prince is from a neighboring country. The mage kingdom has no royal family.
