An esper team takes action to advocate for equal rights for espers. Their first mission turns out to be protecting a rare mermaid, a childhood friend. As they uncover the secrets, the mastermind behind the hunt for the mermaid gradually shows their true colors. The first half is about busting kidnapping rings, and the second half takes on an underground research facility. By accident, the team earns public approval for espers. After the team disbands, everyone gradually adjusts to ordinary life, and equal rights for espers begin to be implemented a few years later.
