Getting the Cannon Fodder Script

Wu Xueying is a low-profile actress, far from famous. Her acting is superb, and she refuses to get swept up in the undercurrents, so she never becomes popular or fades away.

They say contentment brings happiness, and Wu Xueying is quite satisfied.

She'd be even happier if the new owner next door hadn't moved in.

A strange "married couple" lives next door. The man is the best-looking person she's ever seen, and looks to be in his thirties. The woman's lips turn up at the corners, and she's a few years older than him.

The man rarely goes out. One time, when the woman isn't home, he seems to have somewhere to go. Wu Xueying happens to run into him and realizes that this absurdly handsome man is blind.

The apartment building has no elevator. Worried that he'll fall, Wu Xueying helps guide him and learns in conversation that the woman is actually his nanny.

Just then, the woman comes home and hears this. Wu Xueying stares in bewilderment as the furious, embarrassed woman charges at her and pushes her down the stairs.

Wu Xueying's head hits the floor, and she dies.

Then she's reborn, one minute before she meets the man. The reborn Wu Xueying doesn't dare go over to help him.

And then... she dies again.

The woman demands to know why she didn't help him, gives her a shove, and she tumbles down the stairs and dies!

Wu Xueying: "..."

Damn it! What does she want from her?
