[I really will fill in the blanks!]
Tang, a Chinese wood elf, initially only wanted to improve his life with the Demon King's help. He never expected to end up farming, much less win over a group of punch-first, ask-questions-later natives from another world with his delicious
crops and tasty cooking.
Potato and cheese baked rice had the goblins crying that it was a gift from heaven, bringing them out of their underground homes.
Strawberry liqueur chocolates had the dwarves working themselves red in the face at the forge, just to earn a meal.
Molten-lava bubble milk tea made the dragons lay down their weapons and offer up their treasures in exchange.
Salted egg yolk caviar had the merfolk licking their lips as they traded with sailors, and even made them want to visit the market.
But soft rice and secret-recipe fragrant barbecue won over every race, making them bow to him and worship him!
Watching the natives arrive with their land, insist on making him their king, and offer him territory to rule, the wood elf frowned in dismay.
"The Demon King has the power. I have nothing." And of course, he didn't want to farm! Didn't want to farm! Refused to farm!
The Demon King who had given him his power appeared behind him, his eyes dark. "I'll give you the power, and I'll do the farming. You just keep me fed."
The wood elf's ears perked up, then he grew wary. "You don't mean that kind of 'keep me fed,' right?"
The Demon King: "I do."
A swift, sure, and decisive snatch back to the nest!

The fairy tale told in the other world goes like this:
The Demon King abducted the delicious God of Cooking, wanting to keep all the good food for himself. The brave natives rescued the God of Cooking and crowned him king. From then on, all kinds of delicious food appeared in the world.
The children listened, outraged, then turned to their parents and asked, "So did they defeat the Demon King?!"
The native parents looked solemn. "Ahem... no."
They, they couldn't win! Besides, they weren't the sort to settle things with their fists! Ahem.
