Pure-hearted, aloof, possessive, secretly passionate younger gong x calm, steady, battle-worn beauty shizun shou
#Two bonds across two lifetimes, and both times, I love you#
Dongjun Rong Fang is an unparalleled swordsman, dazzlingly brilliant. He attained immortal status at a young age, a shining pearl among all under heaven.
His Highness Dongjun is peerlessly handsome and keeps himself pure. He should be flawless as white jade, yet some people insist on finding fault where none exists...
Rumors say that before Rong Fang made his name, he was merely an illegitimate son from a collateral branch of the Rong clan.
And to claim a pair of eyes, he cost his teacher his life.
·
Qiu Xun is the most unusual of the puppets serving under Dongjun. Clad in black, carrying a sword, he takes on the most dangerous assignments, braving wind and rain, crossing blades and flames.
No one knows where he came from. He has no magic, no fame, and is plagued by chronic illness, his body frail and broken.
Once a White Dragon who could command wind and rain with a laugh, after a heart-wrenching, bone-chilling downpour, his spiritual power is gone and his appearance has changed. Now he is nothing more than a little white carp.
·
"Your Highness, what do you mean by this? I come from a humble background and am no more than a puppet servant. Such improper affection between men is against all etiquette."
Qiu Xun gave him a faint smile, his tone as indulgent and helpless as ever. Rong Fang's throat bobbed. He seized the man's wrist, forcing the words out through gritted teeth:
"When I was young, there was someone living in my heart. I couldn't see what he looked like, but I fell in love with the sound of his breathing."
#After killing his shizun, the seemingly calm gong grows crazier every time#
#I crossed life and death just to set you free#

Pairing: Rong Fang x Qiu Xun, pure-hearted, aloof, possessive, secretly passionate younger gong x calm, steady, battle-worn beauty shizun shou. One-on-one romance.
[Reading Guide]
★ They pretend to be lovers who hate each other, but in truth they're two powerful people who dote on each other. The story is mainly told from the gong's perspective.
★ Because of a secret cultivation method practiced by his family, the gong briefly suffered from blindness in his youth while studying under the shou. He later recovered.
Trust me, being unable to see won't get in their way. Their romance will be adorable.
(A blind shizun can be felt up ♂)
★ The shizun is a battle-worn, beautiful, tragic strong character, but exceptionally steady at his core. The gong seems calm on the surface, but his inner world has long been teetering on the brink of collapse. The shou is very, very indulgent toward the gong (even when he's treated outrageously ♂).
★ There will be angst and sweetness, but a big, capitalized HE.
★ To be started after The Beauty is complete.

Theme: Even in humble disguise, the White Dragon's splendor remains.
