Master, You Stabbed Your Disciple to Death with Your Sword Again

Yi Yan'an's artsy, pitiful act:

“Master, could you take me as your only disciple?”

“Sure.”

Later, his master took another disciple, a lovable young woman.

“Master, I'll always stay by your side.”

“Sure.”

Later, his master expelled him from the sect.

“Master, will you always treat me this well?”

“I will.”

Later, his master's sword pierced his body without hesitation.

The truth:

The lovable young woman was someone he had sent to seduce his own master...

He had deliberately arranged to be expelled from the sect...

And he had planned the sword stabbing himself...

After all, when it came to revenge, he was a professional.

Yi An of the demon realm possessed a child's body to take revenge on the old sect master of Penglai Sect, then joined Penglai Sect as a disciple. He heard that the cold and aloof Jing Wu was the old sect master's most trusted person, so he decided to become Jing Wu's disciple, win his trust, then make him experience what it was like to be betrayed by everyone...

He never expected to discover along the way that the Venerable Jing Wu had fallen for him...

What?! How could he have fallen for me?

Didn't I arrange for an experienced little white lotus to seduce him? The plan was to win him over first, make him suffer through a tragic romance, then cruelly dump him and leave him in agony.

Could it be that I acted too convincingly when trying to earn his trust?

...But... if I handle it myself, that should work just as well... right?

Later, Yi An realized just how badly he'd misunderstood things...

A jinx and the child of the Heavenly Dao fall in love.
