Another Me in This World

If one day I suddenly look back as I travel down the river of time, I will realize that I have always been alone.

If one day my time stops forever in that moment, I think I will regret it.

I missed so much, so much, and kept destroying the things I once had.

The family who once cared for me, the friends who shared their joys and sorrows with me, and the person who once promised to spend a lifetime by my side.

Perhaps I am simply someone who never knew how to cherish what I had. In the end, no one is by my side. No one loves me without holding anything back.

If I could go back to the past one day, I would love myself properly and stop chasing a life that is different just for the sake of being different.

I only hope I can find someone to weather life's hardships with me, and when we have lived out a life as calm as still water, I will be able to smile with contentment.
