A Villainess's Guide to Survival

The title has changed. The original title was There Are Peach Blossoms Note: All-female cast | a touch of ensemble storytelling, with very few male characters, mostly extras [A different kind of fairy tale] Both heroines are virgins, happy ending. Snow White’s stepmother x witch Vivian was endlessly curious about the world. She staged a sham marriage with her maternal half-brother and became queen. By chance, she found the legendary magic mirror. The mirror declared its prophecy: Vivian was the most evil queen in the world, and her extreme jealousy would lead her to kill her stepdaughter, the beautiful Snow White. But not a single part of the prophecy came true. Even the wisest people, upon seeing Vivian’s beauty, would be utterly captivated and become fools she could toy with at will. They say the mission of the White Witches is to protect the most beautiful princess on the entire continent. Recently, the princess had been the target of repeated assassination attempts. The culprit was said to be using poisoned apples. One by one, red, ripe, sweet apples lined the palace’s cobbled path, all the way to the queen’s chambers. Inside the palace, the beautiful queen furrowed her brow, looking terribly troubled. “Why hasn’t the witch come to see me yet?” Wasn’t she making it obvious enough? *Vivian grew wild and free like grass. She feared the bright, blazing fire, yet would still throw herself into it without hesitation. *Later, she became a flame herself, burning more fiercely than any fire. ***The second story arc about Sang Fu and the fallen goddess, featuring a wicked woman, has been deleted. Maybe I’ll write it again someday.*** Theme: What you see may not be real. Gold can contain impurities, and trash can hide treasures.
