[Demon Slayer] Blade of Jewels

Demon: Hmph! How could lowly humans possibly defeat us, the perfect beings? You only live a few decades, and you can't regenerate on your own when you're injured. Lose an arm and you'll die if you don't stop the bleeding. You couldn't be any more pathetic. As long as we take care not to get our necks chopped off, there's no one in this world who can beat us! Turquoise, who's over a thousand years old, can't be bitten, and can stick themself back together after being shattered: (holding up the arm that just knocked out a demon's teeth) What did you say? Demon: ... Demon: Coach! This isn't how the story is supposed to go! A gem person captured and taken to the moon doesn't end up on the moon, but in a story about killing demons in the Taisho era. The protagonist is a version of Turquoise created for this story. They're just over a thousand years old, captured by the Lunarians in summer. The original story hasn't started yet, but Phos has already been born. It's fine if you haven't read Land of the Lustrous. The key settings and terms will all be explained. The story generally follows the original plot, but when I started writing, some side stories and other works hadn't been released yet, so the timeline doesn't quite match the original's side stories. Please forgive the discrepancies. Chapters are generally 3,000 words or more. This story won't be contracted or put behind a paywall. I'm writing it for love. (Update, March 1, 2022: I've started revising the story and updating again, fixing the rather silly outline and oversights in the earlier chapters. Thank you to everyone willing to stick with me.) Theme: Friendship, bonds, protection, growth, and humanity
