Restraint

After turning down an invitation from a famous director, Shu Xin flopped onto her big bed and switched off her work phone to keep her agent from bombarding her with calls...

Suddenly, her phone rang with a ringtone she never heard at any other time. Shu Xin sprang up and stared at the name on her personal phone screen, momentarily stunned, then hit answer.

"Hello."

"Why aren't you taking the role?"

"I don't have time."

"I asked your agent. Are you scared?"

"Scared of you? Xia Wuyou, are you out of your mind?"

"Good. Looking forward to working together."

"Hey, we've been broken up for ages! Don't go scheduling roles for me without asking!"

"Beep, beep, beep..."

Shu Xin stared blankly at her phone, a stampede of a thousand wild horses thundering through her mind. She wanted to rush over to Xia Wuyou and beat her up! Did that count as agreeing to take the role? What the hell! Just like back then, when she went abroad to study without saying a word! And when she broke up with me, she just hung up the phone. What kind of person does that?! After venting her frustration, Shu Xin resigned herself to turning on her work phone. She messaged her agent to accept the role in Xia Wuyou's yuri film, and asked her to apologize to the famous director on her behalf...

I'm such a sucker...
