Also known as:

#After the Black Lotus and the Hypocrite Switch Bodies, Their True Colors Are Exposed#

The Crown Prince Chu Lingyu knows is handsome and refined, gentle in temperament, and exceptionally considerate toward her. She thinks the Crown Prince is a wonderful person, and that life will be blissful after she marries him!

In the Crown Prince's eyes, Chu Lingyu is a kind and gentle lady of noble birth who is deeply in love with him. The palace is urging him to marry, so taking her as his wife will be just the thing to get them off his back.

Their wishes fulfilled, the two gazed into each other's eyes with affection: My fiance is perfect!

But on the night the imperial edict arranging their marriage arrives, they switch bodies.

Chu Lingyu is advised by the Crown Prince's most trusted strategist:

The Chu family is powerful and harboring treasonous ambitions. Your Highness must not let Miss Chu beguile you. Appease her on the surface and wait for the right moment to uproot the Chu family entirely.

The Crown Prince is summoned by Old Madam Chu and given a lecture:

Though you have married into the Eastern Palace, you are still a daughter of the Chu family. You must put the Chu clan first in all things. You must also win over the Crown Prince and bear a legitimate son as soon as possible, to secure our clan's position.

Chu Lingyu and the Crown Prince: Oh, wow, my fiance really has such "deep affection" for me!
