Filming Love

The column "Hard to Hold Back" is currently updating~

Blurb: 1. Tang Yao is a rising variety-show producer, outstanding at her job and coolly beautiful. Because of her position, her company assigns her to film a documentary about police officers responding to calls.

Yu Chao is an officer at the Beicheng Police Station. He's an expert marksman, tough-looking, and a former special-forces sniper. After being injured on a mission, he transferred to the Beicheng Police Station.

On the day they reunite, Tang Yao never imagined she would see her ex-boyfriend, whom she hadn't met in years, on camera right in front of her.

During filming, though, the people around them notice that the two never speak to each other and rarely even exchange glances.

Everyone knows they don't get along, so they try to avoid leaving them alone together and keep from mentioning one to the other.

2. After they reunite, Yu Chao sees how much Tang Yao doesn't want to see him, so he doesn't go out of his way to annoy her.

He hopes to get some news about Tang Yao from her colleagues or his own, but every time he casually wanders over, they clam up and get back to whatever they were doing.

Yu Chao: "...Should I thank you for being so perceptive?"

Later, Tang Yao gets caught up in a scandalous rumor involving a popular young actor. Gossip reporters crowd around her as she comes to give an interview. Yu Chao, out on patrol, rescues her, puts an arm around her, and tells the cameras, "Sorry, but she's my girlfriend."

"Without you, I'd have long since resigned myself to being alone for the rest of my life."

A brooding, secretly flirtatious police officer who loves his country and people, but loves Tang Yao most of all X a coolly beautiful female producer who loves filming and herself, but loves Yu Chao most of all.

Because he loves you most, he risks losing you so you can do what you want.

Because he loves you most, he gives every mission everything he's got so he can come back to you.

Please note:

1. This story is uplifting.

2. A second-chance romance, one-on-one, both leads are virgins.

3. It has almost nothing to do with the entertainment industry, just a tiny bit.

4. A sweet romance.
