The Villainess's Record of Repentance

The novel will be updated every Sunday. Thank you, everyone! Shen Huaiying was like the wicked female supporting character in a storybook: foolish and selfish, arrogant and entitled, throwing her weight around on the strength of her noble birth and treating human life as worthless. In the end, everyone despised her, and she had no one to blame but herself. When this tedious story came to an end, her usually formidable mother looked at her through tear-filled eyes and said, "A Luan, I was wrong." Mother, Mother... She had personally sent Shen Huaiying into the Sea of Samsara to reflect for a hundred years. In the Sea of Samsara, worldly passions surged, and old grudges were hard to lay to rest. At last, Shen Huaiying could become the Shen Huaiying everyone wanted her to be. Only... Only... She died in the Sea of Samsara. "He taught me to let go of my lingering resentment, rein in my temper, turn over a new leaf, change my ways, stop longing for waters that have flowed away, turn back from the sea of suffering, and awaken early to the bonds of karma." From The Embroidered Purse Happy ending. Theme: Admitting your mistakes and correcting them is the greatest virtue.
