Blurb:
[From the moment I met you, winter faded away and the river of stars shone forever.]
During an archaeological expedition deep inside a thousand-year-old tomb, S University's archaeology team unearthed an exquisitely crafted incense burner shaped like a Suanni, seemingly untouched by the passage of time. Chu Yi was in charge of cataloguing the artifacts with several graduate students under his supervision.
After that day, he began having the same dream every night.
In the dream, a white-clad figure whose face he could never make out would call him "young master" again and again, begging him to burn incense in the Suanni burner.
Chu Yi didn't take it seriously, assuming it was only a dream. But the woman in white visited him every night for a week, and eventually began making fierce threats.
"If you refuse, I will devour your entire household!"
Deeply disturbed, Chu Yi had no choice but to do as the dream asked and burn incense for three days straight.
The next morning, he discovered that the Suanni burner, which should have been in the artifact storeroom, was sitting on his table at home. A long-haired woman sat cross-legged on his sofa.
Dressed in white, with starry eyes,
she watched him with her head tilted, a cherry between her lips.
A seemingly gentle, jade-like associate professor with overwhelming possessiveness x an adorable Suanni little divine beast, sweet and salty in equal measure
Also known as The Story of an Eight-Thousand-Year-Old Ancestress and Her Thirty-Year-Old Puppy
[Reading Guide]:
1. The heroine is an ancient Suanni divine beast, but not the one among the nine sons of the Dragon King.
2. This is a modern alternate-universe story. I've done my best to research the relevant archaeological topics, but please don't nitpick. Sources and references will be noted where applicable; everything else is fictional.
3. One-on-one romance, both leads are each other's first, happy ending.
4. The romance is the focus, and everything serves the plot. It's the same old recipe: extra sweet.
5. The heroine's identity gives her a golden finger. If that's not your thing, please click away. Don't curse at me; I'll blow a kiss to anyone who does.
6. Updated daily. I'm reliable about finishing my stories. No ranking checks, and playful teasing is welcome.
7. Thanks to Kongkong from Tu Hua Paradise for the cover!
8. Blurb screenshot dated January 29, 2020.
9. Anti-piracy chapters are set to appear when the subscription rate is below 80%, which may result in repeated chapters. If this happens to you, don't worry; just refresh after 12 hours. (Piracy sites have become rampant, so please forgive the inconvenience. I hope you'll continue supporting the official version. Sending love!)

Glazed Tiles
Lately, the rumor going around Beijing's elite circles was that Ji Wanli, the only daughter of the Ji family, raised in a life of luxury, was about to get engaged. Yet her fiance had been photographed with a popular actress, and the story was trending.
She had just returned from a fashion show overseas and had landed at the capital's airport. Asked about it, she replied carelessly, "It's just an arranged marriage. He can do what he wants, and I'll do what I want."
Then, at an international summit, she was working as a simultaneous interpreter with her headset on. During a break, she looked up through the glass and saw the man seated in the front row.
Chen Jingchu, the true power behind the Chen family in his generation and a rising political star. They said he was ruthless and inscrutable, and even the old master of the Chen family, who had retired from the highest office, had to give way to him.
He was also her fiance's cousin.
Ji Wanli's first real encounter with Chen Jingchu took place at her own engagement banquet.
The man sat in the seat of honor, his eyes as cold and distant as ever. Her playboy fiance behaved like a quail in front of him.
Because of work, the two kept running into each other at various conferences. She battled away in the interpreter's booth while he watched the tides shift from below the stage.
During a break, his assistant brought her a cup of warm water. "Secretary Chen says Miss Ji should soothe her throat."
The breakup of her engagement did not go smoothly. One night, Chen Jingchu's car stopped at the entrance to the Ji family's alley. He looked at her through the window. "Focus on your studies. I'll take care of everything else."
Ji Wanli refused. "Mr. Chen, we're nothing to each other."
"I wouldn't be so sure."
Six-year age gap.

I finished the second playthrough. The first time I read it, I felt it was beautiful. After the second playthrough, I felt that the relationship between the male and female protagonists seemed to be very fast. The male protagonist realized that he liked the female protagonist, which gave me the feeling that he suddenly fell in love with the female protagonist after being together for a few days. There was no hint of affection. Only after the male protagonist began to realize it was the description of the female protagonist's feelings. Although I can't say it is strange, it is still a bit weird (just my thoughts after the second playthrough)
So sweet, so sweet, so sweet! The professor and the little fairy will continue to be sweet! Bai Yao and Li Qing will be together forever╰(*?`*)╯
Sprinkle flowers! Love it so much! Everyone should always be happy!
Overtake! Class! Good! Look!
It's over. I can't get enough of it.
