The Young Lady and Her Fiancée

In the year 223 of the New Era, as technology and the times advanced, the divorce rate on Planet 233 rose year after year. To keep the happiness of its citizens stable, the planet's leader tried everything he could think of.

In the end, he adopted a proposal from a member of parliament: enter the data of all adult residents into a database called the Abyss, which would analyze the information and match people with the partners least likely to end in divorce.

And I, Matris Welshbu, eldest daughter of the Welshbu family on Planet 233, was lucky enough to be among the first group selected for data analysis.

But the match they found for me was a girl!!!
