Slightly Mad at the End of the World

The Qi family has always been big-hearted. Even in the apocalypse, they live by the principle that everyone is a guest, welcoming all kinds of people who come seeking shelter. Before they knew it, their open-door policy had turned them into a ragtag survival gang with a distinctly local flavor. Their main business is killing zombies, stockpiling food, claiming territory, and fighting over it. Laughing, cursing, arguing, and brawling are just part of everyday life. The zombies may be here, but life goes on. Ordinary people can't save the world. They just want to stay alive and protect their parents. Their parents: With all these young men in town whose parents are dead and who own cars and houses, what are you waiting for? Make your move! Friendly reminder: This story has none of those flashy elements like crystal cores, special abilities, power ranks, zombie kings, Five Elements powerhouses, harems of three thousand, or unifying the realm and conquering the world. Content warning: First-person narration (wild and uninhibited, give it a try). My completed novel, Clinging to a Ghost's Leg, is now available. Come on in! My new novel, Don't Run, Female Lead (Quick Transmigration), is updating now. Check the author page for the blurb. Theme: United, alert, serious, and lively.
