I.
Bai Yisi is a gifted, celebrated painter in Wencheng, famous for his immense wealth and eccentric temperament.
He inherited his family's enormous fortune, but has no interest in anything besides painting.
Gu Rang is the most renowned poet at Yide Bookshop. At night, however, he dresses in black and sneaks into the city to rob its wealthy residents.

The one thing Gu Rang never expected was that this terrifying man's home would have a state-of-the-art security system.
He triggered the alarm and, in desperation, climbed through a window into the tool shed. There he saw a pale, filthy servant.
