Merit Supermarket [Apocalypse]

Xiang Rong is a biomedical researcher. After dying from overwork, he transmigrates into an apocalypse novel as a minor character with the same name. This man is selfish and cowardly, and pushes the male lead, Lu Yinxing, into a horde of zombies to save his own life. After the male lead miraculously survives, he naturally takes brutal revenge on him. What kind of hard mode is this? A brain worker like him, with no ability to defend himself, will either be tortured to death by the male lead or starve, die of thirst, or get bitten by zombies in the apocalypse... "Ding." Just then, a voice rang out in Xiang Rong's mind: "Merit Supermarket activated. Bind now?" "Bind..." What's in it for me? "Binding successful." "..." Huh?! "A pack of instant noodles costs 20 merit points. Redeem?" Xiang Rong looked at the 200,000 merit points displayed on his status screen and let out a deep breath. Well, at least he wouldn't starve to death for now. The male lead, Lu Yinxing, is the coldest, most ruthless, and most powerful soldier in Unit R. He hates weaklings most of all, like Xiang Rong. He'd better keep a low profile and avoid crossing paths with him. But to his surprise, the first time they meet, Lu Yinxing singles him out from the crowd with pinpoint accuracy. Xiang Rong breaks out in a cold sweat under his icy gaze. Could this guy have been reborn? After a long while, Lu Yinxing finally lets go of his arm. His voice carries a hint of grievance. "Ten years... Why didn't you come find me?" Theme: Good deeds are rewarded
