My AI Gentleman

[Main story complete, bonus chapters still updating~]

In my past life, I killed, robbed, and set fires. In this life, I study avian ecology.

This saying has been circulating among students at Dong University for a long time,

and Qiao Yi wholeheartedly agrees.

To observe birds, Qiao Yi moved out of campus and, by a twist of fate, ended up living with Ji Shuci.

Mr. Ji works in AI. His IQ is top-notch, his EQ is mediocre, and his romantic intelligence is zero.

Apart from his overly handsome face, he is practically indistinguishable from a cold, emotionless robot.

Qiao Yi secretly feels sorry for his future girlfriend.

Later, Ji Shuci kneels on one knee and proposes to Qiao Yi with a ring.

Qiao Yi: ...

After graduation, Qiao Yi, an expert in avian ecology, is invited to the Qinghai Bird Nature Reserve to lead a scientific research project.

When the research ends, they encounter a sandstorm the likes of which comes once in a decade.

The reserve loses its supplies and teeters on the brink of running out of water and electricity. Her colleagues call their families one after another to let them know they are safe.

Qiao Yi leans against the windowsill. Before she can even unlock her phone, a call comes in.

Outside, yellow sand sweeps across the sky. A convoy of black vehicles laden with rescue supplies bursts through the haze and speeds toward them.

The door of the lead off-road vehicle opens. Ji Shuci wears sunglasses and a perfectly tailored trench coat.

Holding his phone, his deep voice comes clearly through the phone at Qiao Yi's ear: "I heard the migratory birds have all flown south for the winter. I'm here to take you home."
