Old blurb:
I transmigrated one day and became illiterate.
The Iliad?
A story about a hopeless student among top students, meeting Aristotle and, along the way, falling in love.
New blurb:
Don't mind the nonsense at the end of Chapter One. This isn't historically researched; I've only done a little reading about the period. The idea for this story first came to me after I watched a documentary and read a biography of Alexander. The glory Alexander created was fleeting, like a flower that blooms for just one night. Afterward, all his achievements were divided up by the clever schemers back home.
From the moment he showed his mettle at twelve by taming that wild horse, to traveling far and wide and leading his Macedonian cavalry to raze Thebes, defeat Persia, and seize Babylon and Susa, before marching east into India... During this time, he lost his beloved warhorse...
He ultimately died in Babylon at the age of just thirty-three.
I've really wanted to write about the wild revelry at the feast of Dionysus after he defeated Persia. It's a little unsuitable for children: chaotic and frenzied, with a kind of primitive, untamed beauty, a worship of the gods, and an almost mad feast of uninhibited bodies.
Just thinking about it feels utterly captivating.
That was the original idea, but I stopped writing after three chapters.
I cruelly broke up his canon pairing with Hephaestion, and there's also some ambiguity with another male slave. Don't come after me.
Premise: A wild daydream about digging pits.
Who is this Ying Si? It feels a bit touching, looking forward to the next chapter.
