Embers

· Jian Yinge was the beloved daughter of a church councilor, spoiled by her doting family and living life as she pleased. Unfortunately, her family fell into ruin. The once-privileged heiress became a pariah, and the admirers who had once been utterly devoted to her turned on her one after another. There was nowhere left for her in the vast city of Yingdu. On the day she met with her business partner, the ex-girlfriend she had so heartlessly abandoned appeared right in front of her. And she was Jian Yinge's direct superior. A partner so prestigious that even arrogant clients bowed and scraped before her. Biting back her pride, Jian Yinge pretended to have amnesia and signed the document Yu Li handed her. First day of the contract: No assignments. She spent the day in her boss's office, drinking coffee with her. Second day of the contract: No assignments. She spent the day at her boss's home, playing games with her. Third day of the contract: No assignments. In her boss's bedroom, her boss lifted the covers... Jian Yinge could take no more. "Yu Li, please show some restraint. I'm here to work!" Yu Li replied calmly, "This is your job. Didn't you already sign the letter of appointment?" What letter of appointment? Jian Yinge stared at her in bewilderment. "What exactly do you want me to do?" Yu Li: "Make me happy." A few tips before you dive in: 1.
