The Moon Shines Tenderly on a Lone Shadow (Fu E)

This is a tragic short story, based on the Fulin and Dong'e story in the Dorgon and Li Rongyao arc of "Four Lives After I Transmigrated to the Qing Dynasty."

Told mainly from Fulin's first-person perspective, it recounts a tale of unrequited love.

Note: This story is entirely fictional, and the feelings are one-sided. Updates whenever inspiration strikes; I promise to finish it before the end of March.

The tags on this story are incorrect because I reused an old draft. The correct tags are childhood friends, tragic romance, devoted love, and palace intrigue. (To change the tags, poke me on BB. The author is a bit lazy, so please bear with me.)

Those who insist on historical accuracy, please move along! Thank you!

Theme: The pain of parting from a loved one.
