After I Die, the Floodgates Open

Expected to start in the second half of 2023. Feel free to add it to your reading list~

Lu Jiaojiao dies.

She thinks she'll go to Heaven, or at worst the underworld, but never expects to arrive in a world unlike anything she's ever seen.

Qin Shi Huang and Li Bai sit together drinking wine. Wang Bo follows Huo Qubing around, learning military strategy. Zhang Juzheng and Emperor Yang of Sui chat about romance.

Emperors and generals from China and abroad, geniuses who died young, and old people who died with regrets, all continue their lives here.

"But," Lu Jiaojiao says, staring at everything before her in shock, "why does this world look even more advanced than the twenty-first century...?"

A handsome young man with rosy lips and pearly teeth stands behind her, holding a book with an arrogant expression. "The best people to have ever lived, from ancient times to the present, are all here. Why do you think?"

"Then what about you? Who are you?"

The young man tilts his head and smiles. "Why should I tell you?"

After a moment, he adds, "There's no more room in the world. We have to make some cuts."

"I choose you to be my assistant..."
