Playing Myself [Showbiz]

[My new novel, The Girl Who Reincarnated as a Fluffy Ball, is now available. Visit my profile to check it out.] Music is essential to Jian Suxiu's life, a part of his soul. Acting, on the other hand, is the seasoning of life. And Duan Sui is the haven of his soul, an irreplaceable presence. When Jian Suxiu saw the script for True Colors, he felt an odd sense of dissonance. Even after finishing the performance, he couldn't make sense of it. Instead, a sentence suddenly surfaced in his mind: At twenty, Yin Zhe met Pei Yuhui, but I have always had Duan Sui. How lucky I am. Thank you for acting out a season of romance with me, so I want to give you a lifetime of happiness in return. P.S.: Both leads are each other's first and only partners. The supporting characters are all there to help them get together. The seme is seven years older, a talented actor from a wealthy family. The uke is a naturally gifted pianist who later enters the entertainment industry. This story is not based on real people. I made it all up. It's also just writing practice, so please don't give me writing advice. An atypical entertainment-industry story, sweet and doting in tone, with a romance that's not overly direct and leans toward a warm, cozy feel. Theme: Act well, be genuine, and promote the socialist core value of professionalism
