[Dream of the Red Chamber] Embrace the Buddha

After transmigrating into a book as Zhineng'er, she is trapped at Shuiyue Nunnery, an unofficial little nun without an ordination certificate. Her contract is in the hands of the old nun Jingxu. They are supposedly master and disciple, but in truth, they are mistress and servant. Beneath her nun's robes, she is little more than a Buddhist courtesan waiting to be sold to the highest bidder, with a bewitching beauty and an uncertain future. The original girl was foolish and naive, hoping to escape by seducing a handsome young man. It ended badly. Bai Zhi let her scheming senior sister have Young Master Qin. Using her foreknowledge from having transmigrated into a book, she instead made an early connection with Miss Zhang, who came to the temple to pray for blessings. She set her sights on the two rivals for Miss Zhang's affections: the eldest young master of the Chang'an garrison commander and Li Yanei, the prefect's brother-in-law. Then she waited for Fengjie to take the bait. As long as Second Mistress Lian dared to come to Mantou Nunnery and throw her weight around, dared to covet three thousand taels of silver and ruin someone's marriage, she would be in for trouble. Bai Zhi could use the opportunity to break free. Once her plan was in place, Bai Zhi got everything she wanted. She bought back her contract, obtained an ordination certificate, and transferred to the capital's foremost nunnery to take up residence. She became colleagues with Miaoyu, took a renowned nun as her master, and won herself the rank of an imperial lady by flirting with a jade monk. #Clawing her way out of the prison by the fox's tail# Theme: Opportunity favors the prepared.
