Blurb
Zhang Guiying transmigrates to the 1980s.
She feels her original owner's pockets, cleaner than her face, then looks at the patches on her clothes. It's already 1982, yet life is even harder than it was in the 1960s.
Fortunately, the original owner was a good student. With a report card showing first place in every subject, she should be able to get assigned to a decent work unit.
The story follows a recent college graduate who transmigrates to the 1980s, starts working at a state-owned enterprise, and grows through one stumble after another.
Next novel: Escape from the Abandoned Continent
Shen Zhi transmigrates to the Southern Wilderness Continent, where martial strength reigns supreme.
The people here are big and burly, with strong limbs and simple minds. They don't need to exchange words before a fight. Usually, all it takes is a clash of glances for them to start throwing punches.
Shen Zhi was born in New China and raised under the red flag. She started reading at three, learned to hold a pen at four, and wore glasses by nine. She never put her books down, spent all year quietly studying, and went through three years of high school and five years of exam prep. Even on her deathbed, she was still working on her graduate thesis defense! Just how long has it been since she exercised?
Shen Zhi tilts her head back and curses the heavens. How could they send a frail scholar like her to the Southern Wilderness Continent, where martial strength reigns supreme? If they were going to send her here, they could at least have given her a strong body! Why give her this feeble, willow-like body, even weaker than the one she had before? Is this any way to treat someone?
Shen Zhi stares blankly at her siblings beside her. Each one is holding a bowl bigger than their head, shoveling food into their mouths with their chopsticks. Their table manners are insanely wild!
She snaps back to her senses and picks up her spoon to take a bite. By then, her siblings' bowls are all empty, and they are glaring at her bowl of food!
Shen Zhi shudders. Her first thought is to grab her bowl and bury her head in it, quickly finishing her food. She has to strengthen this frail body of hers. The first step is to eat as much as she can. But this bowl is so heavy she can barely lift it. Sob sob, Shen Zhi is in tears! With a body this weak, how can she possibly escape this abandoned continent? But if she doesn't leave, is she supposed to sit here and wait to die? It's said that no one from the Abandoned Continent can enter the cycle of reincarnation. After death, their soul simply vanishes!
Theme: Strive unceasingly for self-improvement
I bought it out of habit, but didn't read the title clearly. In China, the antagonism between men and women is getting more and more serious. If a fat man pursues a rich second generation and the woman gets pregnant and is abandoned, and then pursues the heroine's sister again, will he be scolded by readers? Don't talk about the opposition between men and women. This society does not distinguish between men and women, only normal people, just like female drivers and male drivers. Don't label them. Don't scold women but only men. Or only scold men but not women. We hope to truly achieve equality between men and women.
What I dislike the most about this book is the heroine's sister.
Two-thirds of it is good, but the last third is a bit messy and really a bit unfinished.
Why does the heroine's child have to be named Li Haocun? All I can think about is Liu Haocun

It's good to watch. I like such an outstanding female protagonist who crushes the male protagonist. I can't get tired of watching it a hundred times. I'm fed up with stories where the male protagonist is always better than the female protagonist. Can I say that I've read it for the second time?
Why do both Li Jiajia and Fat Aunt know about Zhang Guimin's abortion?
The early part of the article is very good, I can keep reading, the plot is quite compact, and the heroine is particularly successful in her career. Later on, I felt like a lot of the stories were mentioned in one go, the explanations were sloppy, and the plot was boring. The story is actually very good. It would be better if it were longer, more career-related, and less annoying trivial matters at home.
After reading it for 5 hours, do you want to sleep?
