Edward, a thirty-year-old British archaeologist, arrives in Baghdad during peacetime to enjoy the last seventeen days of his vacation. There, he meets Zavier, a twenty-five-year-old local newsstand owner. Zavier is a gay man who lives here cautiously. Hoping to earn more "tips," he takes the initiative to approach the respectable gentleman Edward, volunteers to be his local guide, and promises to show him many historical sites. From the banks of the Tigris to the Abbasid Palace, over seventeen fleeting summer nights in Baghdad, Zavier and the Englishman fall secretly in love.
A little scene: In their hotel room, the two have just finished when they suddenly decide to take some "photos" of each other as keepsakes. Looking at his handiwork, Edward smiles and says, "You look great." Zavier glances at his phone screen. "Keep yours as a souvenir, but delete mine. It's dangerous here. I'm worried someone might find them, but I'll remember it all." Edward slips an arm around him and strokes his face with a finger. "But people forget." Zavier obediently nuzzles his palm. "The body doesn't forget." [British gentleman top x Middle Eastern beauty with gorgeous lashes bottom]
